A) Call our 24-hour administration line: (805) 727-3445. We’d love to hear from you and can get you in touch with one of our Home Care Managers. Our Home Care Managers are available to learn the specific and unique needs of your family and assist you with a customized plan to care for you or your loved one. We look forward to talking with you!
Q) What nursing services do you provide?
A) Our Home Care Managers are available to perform assessments, and to provide consultation to assist you understanding and implementing your doctor’s orders. We frequently attend doctor visits to help our clients better understand a complex medical situation, and make informed decisions about their health.
Q) What caregiving services do you provide?
A) We have an excellent team of skilled companion caregivers, Certified Nursing Assistants, Home Health Aids, and Certified Home Care Managers. Furthermore, our staff can help with transportation and even grocery shopping and meal planning.
Q) How is Complete Care Santa Barbara able to provide personalized care?
A) We have a unique business model for our industry and for our local community. We have refused to grow at a pace that would place the needs of our clients and caregivers second to any other consideration. We have grown organically, and with a very focused desire for one-on-one contact that allows us to tailor our services to your care needs.
Q) After securing your services for care, how do we go about changing the schedule to accommodate for visiting family or additional doctors visits?
A) At Complete Care Santa Barbara, we pride ourselves on remaining focused and flexible to accommodate your family’s needs. We request cancellations to be made with at least 24 hours notice, and any other requested adjustments to the schedule are welcome and accommodated to the best of our ability.
Q) Our senior prefers to live independently in the Santa Barbara area. How do I know that they will receive the attention they deserve when the rest of the family lives out of town
A) We work closely with our clients and their families to communicate important details about their care. Additionally, both our medical and administrative staffs are available 24-hours a day, every day of the year should you have specific questions.
Q) What should I do if I have a question for the Home Care Manager after business hours?
A) All of our clients have direct access to the Home Care Manager on call at any hour of the day or night. We also have an administrative hotline to reach our leadership at any time. While our detailed planning prevents most unforeseen circumstances or urgent matters from arising at odd hours, we are available 24/7.
Q) What charges are associated with this level of concierge care, when we make a late-night phone call?
A) There are no additional costs for this associated service. If you request an additional Home Care Manager’s visit be made to your home, that visit will be billed at the normal rate. After hours rates may apply for visits outside of regular business hours.
Q) Do you provide placement services, if my senior's level of care requires a facility?
A) Yes, our team has over 30 years of experience working with the various facilities that provide skilled nursing across our community, as well as many of the top surgeons and physicians in the Santa Barbara area. We work closely with our clients, and utilize our local resources to ensure that you receive the appropriate level of care.
Q) Do you accept Medicare?
A) No, we choose not to provide Medicare paid services. If desired, we coordinate with other agencies to provide such care, which is usually short term and task oriented.
Q) Do you accept Long Term Health Care Insurance?
A) We assist you in obtaining your Long Term Health Care Insurance benefits by providing appropriate Home Care Manager assessments and care records for you to file.
